Both 1.5L three-cylinder and 2.0L four-cylinder VC-Turbo engines are affected. Nissan estimates that roughly 1.2% of these vehicles may contain defective bearings.

Nissan and Infiniti dealers will inspect the engine oil pan for metal debris and repair or replace engines where needed, at no cost to owners.
