According to the recall notice, certain vehicles may experience overheating within the high voltage battery system. What Is the Problem?

As an interim measure, Jaguar Land Rover will update battery management software to limit the vehicle’s maximum state of charge to 90 percent. This temporary solution is intended to reduce stress on the battery system while the company works toward a final remedy.
