Genesis Motor America has announced a safety recall after discovering that side curtain airbags may not have been installed correctly in certain vehicles, potentially preventing proper deployment during a crash.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), improperly installed side curtain airbags may fail to deploy as designed in certain collision scenarios. Genesis dealers will inspect and reinstall the side curtain airbags, as necessary, free of charge.
