According to recall documents, a fault in the Power-net Domain Controller (PDC) leads to noncompliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 108, which governs lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment. As a result, the parking lights may not function properly, especially in low-light conditions, creating a potential road hazard.
