Jayco Recalls Select Entegra Coach Motorhomes Over Fire Risk

History Behind the Recall

Jayco, Inc. has issued a safety recall for certain 2025–2026 Entegra Coach motorhomes due to a defect that may increase the risk of a fire. The recall affects a small population of 34 vehicles but carries a serious hazard.

According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the issue stems from a rear cap support bracket installed on Freightliner custom chassis. This bracket may come into contact with the OEM engine fuel filter housing. Over time, the repeated contact could damage the housing, potentially leading to a fuel leak. A fuel leak near an ignition source significantly raises the risk of fire.

Jayco began its investigation in February 2025 following a customer complaint. A redesigned mounting plate was engineered shortly afterward to relocate the bracket and eliminate contact with the fuel filter housing. The company decided to proceed with the recall on April 7, 2025, after an internal committee review confirmed the safety concern.

Which Models Are Affected

The following Entegra Coach Class A diesel motorhomes are affected:

  • 2025–2026 Entegra Coach Anthem
  • 2025 Entegra Coach Aspire
  • 2025–2026 Entegra Coach Cornerstone

Vehicles were manufactured between April 2, 2024, and March 24, 2025. A total of 34 units are affected, and all are estimated to carry the defect.

What Owners Need to Do Next

Jayco will notify affected owners beginning May 16, 2025. Owners should contact their dealer to schedule a free repair, during which a redesigned mounting plate will be installed to relocate the rear cap support bracket.
